Add a shortcut icon to your phone, tablet or computer for quick access to your garden, Elena and your saved advice. You do not need to download an app from a store.<\/p>\n

Start on your garden homepage, not this instructions page.<\/strong> Use the button below, then follow the steps for your device.<\/p>\n

Open MyGardenTeam homepage<\/a><\/p>\n

iPhone or iPad \u2014 Safari<\/h2>\n

  1. Open your garden homepage in Safari. If you are viewing it inside WhatsApp or another app, open it in Safari first.<\/li>\n
  2. Open the Share menu (the square with an upward arrow). Depending on your Safari layout, open the page menu first and then choose Share.<\/li>\n
  3. Find Add to Home Screen<\/strong>. If it is missing, check Edit Actions<\/strong> in the Share menu.<\/li>\n
  4. Give the icon a name, such as MyGardenTeam<\/strong>, then tap Add<\/strong>. If offered, Open as Web App is optional.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The new icon opens your garden website. Apple\u2019s instructions<\/a>.<\/p>\n

    Android phone or tablet \u2014 Chrome<\/h2>\n

    1. Open your garden homepage in Chrome.<\/li>\n
    2. Tap the three-dot menu and look for Add to Home screen<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
    3. Choose Create shortcut<\/strong>, or Install<\/strong> if your browser offers it.<\/li>\n
    4. Name it MyGardenTeam<\/strong> and confirm the prompts to add the icon.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      The exact wording varies by device and browser. If the option is unavailable, bookmark the homepage or try Chrome outside the app you opened the link from. Chrome\u2019s web app help<\/a>.<\/p>\n

      Windows computer or Chromebook \u2014 Chrome<\/h2>\n

      1. Open your garden homepage in Chrome.<\/li>\n
      2. Open the three-dot menu, choose Cast, save and share<\/strong>, then Create shortcut<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
      3. Enter MyGardenTeam<\/strong> and choose Create<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Your system decides where the shortcut appears. You can also bookmark the homepage for quick access. Chrome\u2019s shortcut instructions<\/a>.<\/p>\n

        Mac \u2014 Safari<\/h2>\n

        1. Open your garden homepage in Safari.<\/li>\n
        2. On macOS Sonoma 14 or later, choose File \u2192 Add to Dock<\/strong>, or use Share \u2192 Add to Dock<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
        3. Name it MyGardenTeam<\/strong> and click Add<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          On an older Mac, save the homepage as a Safari bookmark instead. Apple\u2019s Mac instructions<\/a>.<\/p>\n

          Using your garden shortcut<\/h2>\n

          Tap or click the icon whenever you want to visit your garden. The website continues to receive updates. Internet access is needed for Elena and current content, and your normal Elena password still applies. You may be asked to enter it again when opening from the new icon.<\/p>\n
