They are most commonly found in <strong>eco-type composts<\/strong> rather than <strong>John Innes composts<\/strong>.<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Treatment:<\/strong> If you detect vine weevil, the most effective cure is to apply a <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/gardening-naturally.com\/products\/vine-weevil-nematodes-12-sqm?\">nematode solution<\/a><\/strong> directly onto the pot.<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Caution:<\/strong> Vine weevils can also affect open soil, especially where you have used a lot of compost or added grit and sand, so inspect your beds as well.<br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Hardening Off Seedlings<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If you have been <strong>growing seedlings on a windowsill<\/strong>, such as <strong>tomatoes and courgettes<\/strong>, remember that <strong>natural light through glass is not as strong as direct sunlight<\/strong>.<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>During sunny days, <strong>place your seedlings outside for a few hours<\/strong> to allow them to acclimate to natural light and prevent them from becoming too leggy..
