This will help the plant focus its energy on new growth rather than trying to repair damaged tissue. Its you are note sure if a stem is dead or not lightly scratch the stem with your thumb nail, its its green just under the surface then its still alive and might recover if its brown at that point of the stem its dead.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Water the plant regularly, but avoid overwatering. Frost can cause the soil to dry out, so it&#8217;s important to keep the soil moist, but not waterlogged.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Fertilize the plant with a balanced fertilizer just as Growmore. This will help the plant rebuild its strength and encourage new growth.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Protect the plant from further frost damage. This may involve covering the plant with a frost blanket or horticultural fleece or if the plants in a container moving it to a sheltered location.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Be patient. It may take some time for the plant to fully recover, so be patient and give it the care it needs as it recovers.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">It&#8217;s also important to note that some plants are more frost-tolerant than others. If you live in an area with frequent frost, it&#8217;s a good idea to choose frost-tolerant plants for your garden.
