How to Clean and Disinfect a Greenhouse<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n


Cleaning and disinfecting your greenhouse is an important part of plant care. By removing pests, pathogens, and debris, you can create a healthy environment for your plants to grow.
If the green house is cleaned in the winter or spring before planting it can remove the need in the growing season to use harmful insecticides to control pests such as aphids<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here are the steps on how to clean and disinfect a greenhouse:
\u2022 Remove all plants, soil, and debris from the greenhouse.\u00a0This will help you get a good look at the entire space and make it easier to clean.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


\u2022 Sweep the floor and wipe down surfaces with a damp cloth.\u00a0This will remove any dirt, dust, or debris that could harbour pests or pathogens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


\u2022 Prepare a disinfectant solution according to the manufacturer’s instructions.\u00a0Choose a disinfectant that is effective against a wide range of pests and pathogens, such as bacteria, viruses, and fungi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


\u2022 Use a spray bottle or pressure sprayer to apply the disinfectant solution to all surfaces of the greenhouse.\u00a0Be sure to cover all areas thoroughly and allow the solution to sit for the recommended time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
