To help bring your new garden to life, we\u2019ve created a series of illustrations that show how the space will look throughout the year, based on the plants we\u2019ve recommended together with the plant selections you\u2019ve chosen.<\/p>\n\n\n
The first illustration shows the garden in the height of summer, when the planting is at its most vibrant. This is the season of colour, with flowering plants taking centre stage and creating a lush, full feel throughout the space. Borders are rich and layered, and the garden feels lively, textured, and abundant.<\/p>\n\n\n

Spring Garden<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Illustration Two: Early Spring Structure<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
The second illustration focuses on early spring, when structure becomes more important than flowers. Here, the main features of the garden really stand out, particularly the Amelanchier<\/strong> and the cornus stems<\/strong>, which provide shape, height, and seasonal interest before the rest of the planting fully emerges. This view highlights how the garden remains attractive even before summer growth begins.<\/p>\n\n\n

Winter Garden<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Illustration Three: Winter Form and Evergreens<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
The third illustration shows the garden in winter. At this time of year, the design relies on strong forms, bark, and evergreen structure. The Amelanchier<\/strong> and cornus stems<\/strong> continue to play an important role, supported by evergreen planting such as Choisya<\/strong> and Pyrus salicifolia<\/strong> at the base of the garden. These plants ensure the space still feels considered and well-structured during the colder months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Optional Enhancements<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
While the design works well year-round, you may wish to introduce additional evergreen planting along the fences. This can add extra winter interest, improve privacy, and give the garden a fuller, more enclosed feel throughout the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
