Placed in sheltered positions slightly dug in to ground level and filled with cheap lager or beer they will trap any early season slugs and and show you if you have a slug problem. Also providing you with an early indication of a slug problem arriving later in the year.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As the weather warms up and the temperature in the soil rises you can start treatments of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nematodesdirect.co.uk\/6-nemaslug\">slug nematodes <\/a>which is a small microscopic worm that attacks the slugs. They move around the soil water tracking down the slugs.
