With the pruned stems from Buddleia and jasmine plants can be used as hardwood cuttings to propagate new plants. Here are the steps you can follow:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Collect healthy stems from the Buddleia or jasmine plant. Select stems that are about the thickness of a pencil, and make sure they are straight and without any signs of disease or damage.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Cut the stems into sections that are about 6 inches long. Make the cuts just below a node, which is where the leaves or buds are attached to the stem.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Remove all the leaves from the stem except for the top few leaves.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Dip the cut end of the stem in rooting hormone is you have any often its not worth doing this unless you have some rooting hormone powder.   5. Prepare a pot or container with well-draining soil. Make a hole in the soil with a pencil or stick, and insert the stem into the soil.   6. Water the soil to keep it moist but not too wet. Cover the pot with a plastic bag to create a humid environment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  7. Place the pot in a warm, bright location, but not in direct sunlight.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  8. Check the soil regularly and water when it starts to feel dry. After a few weeks, you should see new growth and roots starting to form.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  9. Once the plant has established a good root system, you can transplant it to a larger pot or into the garden.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
