What You’ll Need:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pruners or a sharp knife<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Optional: Rooting hormone<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A pot or tray with good potting mix<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Plastic bag or clear dome<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Watering can<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Steps to Take Hardwood Cuttings from an Old Rose:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Select a healthy stem: Choose a disease-free stem from the parent rose bush that has finished blooming and is beginning to harden off. The stem should be around 8-12 inches long and the thickness of a pencil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
