How to install glass extensions

Stationary glass extensions are a convenient, aesthetic and relatively easy-to-install alternative to the usual plasterboard walls. If you have basic technical skills and tools, you can install a glass house extension yourself.
Why should you install a glass link?
As we have already mentioned, glass links are a modern practical solution for aesthetic zoning of space as shown here https://glassstructureslimited.com/glass-extensions.
The advantages of such a glass box extension include:
· Their installation brings fewer costs and trouble than re-planning and building a concrete or plasterboard wall.
· They are easier to dismantle or move.
· The aesthetics of transparent shiny glass will harmoniously complement any interior.
· A glass wall visually expands the space, makes the room more spacious and bright, while leaving a feeling of solitude and dividing the space into zones.
· They are suitable for a room of any size.
· Glass walls are better than others for rooms with high humidity: bathrooms, kitchens, etc. Glass does not deteriorate or mold due to moisture. The main thing is to choose the appropriate accessories protected from corrosion damage.
· Glass links are durable and, with proper care, do not require regular repairs. Unlike ordinary walls, they do not form scuffs, cracks and yellowness.
Instructions for installation of a glass link
How to attach glass links in a house, office or sales hall? Follow the instruction:
1. To begin with, make markings for the future structure on the floor, ceiling and wall with a pencil and a slope.
2. Install the tires along the marking lines using dowels and nails. To increase the sound insulation of the room, rubber seals are recommended. Among other things, they protect the glass from damage in case of subsidence of the building.
3. Screw the connectors to the tire – under two parts above and below.
4. Next, with the help of a screw, the connector clamp should be screwed to the carbon parts. This completes the step of installing the clamping elements.
5. The next stage is the installation of glass sheets. First, insert it into the lower connectors, and then the upper (wall) connectors. Armed with adjustable supports or pads, set the desired height of the glass. Finally, clamp the glass – screw into the connector until it stops.
If the wall consists of several canvases, install them at a distance of 1-3 millimeters from each other, and treat the resulting gaps with a sealant.
In the final stage, it remains only to install decorative overlays on the fasteners.
