Garden concept plan

First stage is to work out the shapes of the paths and central area. Dig out the concrete in the new bed areas, leave the other areas and add more concrete as required to adjust the levels so suit.
With the old concrete forming the path bases you could use bonded gravel to resurface the old concrete areas. This would be best carried out in the summer after the planting has been carried out
With the existing step / seat on the righthand side we are suggesting cladding with wood such as strips of cedar wood to create a seat that can be used in the summer.
On the left we suggest creating a barbecue area base created with loose gravel so any grease falling from the barbecue can be easily cleaned up by raking the loose gravel
Once the concrete areas are removed to form the new flower beds we can start to improve the soil bu adding organic matter.
With the planting we are suggesting the following plants Click Here one of the key features of the planting is the Prunus × subhirtella ‘Autumnalis’ which is a small prunus winter flowering cherry tree producing lots of winter flowers and easy to control the size with some annual pruning.
