Your front door is for most people the main area of a garden you see in winter months so it’s an opportunity to grow some plants that have some winter colour and winter scents.
The advantage of winter flowering plants is they produce lots of winter colour and scent, produce strong colours and lots of heavenly scents to try and attract what insects are about during the winter to pollinate the flowers.
