Feeding with low nitrates and high nitrate feeds

Growmore fertilizer is a granular fertilizer with approximately one handful per square metre of flower bed or container. and one handful per linear metre of hedge around the base. After the initial feed then feed once a year in the spring or autumn.

Growmore is a low nitrate plant food that should not produce too much growth.
where we need to produce lots of green growth and stems such as the plants on the end of the balcony we can use a high nitrate feed called Miracle gro which is a high nitrate feed producing lots of additional growth. This feed should be used once a month until the end of October starting again in March
