This means placing then near to a window thats normally south facing and an area thats no in shadow in the late afternoon. The next key area is temperate, it needs to be a even temperature with no cold drafts. The best solution here is to have effective double glazing which will help the to even out a room temperature and stop any cold drafts
The final key area is humidity plants need humidity even the plants that survive in hot dry climates given the choose would always choose a level of humidity as it just makes growing easier. Modern home heating systems trend to produce dry heat so you need to add small pots or boils of water around your indoor plants to help increase the humidity.
