Ants In My Compost Bin.

I have ants in my compost bin.How can I remove them and do they do any harm? .
Answer
Ants in your compost bin will not do any harm,but if you would like to get rid of them we normally use a product called Nippon which is a paste bait that they eat take into the nest and this kills all the ants over about a month to 6 weeks.
