Camellia Buds Dropping Of Before Flowering.
Camellia buds normally drop of before flowering because the plant is in a position were it receives the early morning sun.At the time of flowering this means the plant warms up to quickly after a frost. They need to be in a position were they receive the sun later in the day so they thaw out at a slower rate with the warmth in the mid day air. Or if the buds that are dropping show signs of brown discolouration this is a sign of a lack of nutrients in the soil or compost, normally iron and or Magnesium.
