How can I move my large holly bush, and can I move it now in May?
Answer
It would be best to move it in the early autumn.To move it,dig a trench around it now to cut some of the larger roots.This will help it produce some finer roots nearer the main stems over the summer months,this will be helpful when you come to move it.In the autumn prune it right back and dig it out trying to save as much root as possible,especially the finer roots as these are the ones that take the water from the soil.
