Moving An Established Climbing Rose.
Moving an establish climbing rose – To moving the rose I would cut back the stems to about three feet or a metre. Then dig it up with as much root as possible and replant using a John Iness soil based compost mixed in with the soil as you back fill the planting hole.In addition to this I would also add some Mycorrhizal fungi in the form of Root Grow details can be found at: http://www.friendlyfungi.co.uk/rootgrowhome.php
Finally Remember to keep well watered in the spring and summer and its also worth adding a mulch of compost or bark around the base of the rose to help keep the ground moist.
