Re-Planting Apple Tree.
In some cases its not advisable to replant the same species of plant in a position in which another plant of the same species existed before.However in the case of apple trees you should be OK.To replant I would pay attention to the soil preparation by adding lots of well rotted organic matter such as spent mushroom compost or garden compost.This is because the former apple tree will have taken a lot of nutrients and goodness out of the soil.
