Repotting An Orchid.
Repotting an orchid, the best time to repot it would be in the spring when the days start to lengthen and plants enter a more active growing period. It sounds as if you have a Phalaenopsis as it is good at flowering.Do not worry about the airroots as they are normally green and are also photosynthesising so pot up what roots you can easily in an orchid compost and leave the roots you can’t fit in the pot to do their own thing! Don’t overpot when you do,as it may just produce lots of leaf growth rather than concentrate on flowering. Orchids generally like to be fed on a regular basis with some orchid food.
