When To Loop Your ElderBerry.
The Elderberry is a shrub that grows wild,it is not a commercial crop but is grown commonly in home gardens.Elders are pretty hardy plants and grow best in moist, fertile conditions as well as soil that is properly drained.
When To Loop – During the first two seasons they should be encouraged to grow vigorously but after the second year they can be cut in early Spring or anytime for that matter. If you are growing them for the fruit, you should wait until the crop has finished.
