coconut palm the best watering regime for it is to water thoroughly when the top inch or two of soil feels dry.Let it get drier however,in winter but never completely dry.It needs to be placed in a bright postition but not in direct sunlight.It needs a mimimum winter temperature of 55 degees Farenheit.It can be fed during the growing season(British summer time). Good luck as it is not an easy house plant.
