Controlling difficult garden weeds

As spring gets underway and the spring flowers come into bloom so do your garden weeds although a lot of them can be controlled by hand weeding and mulching some weeds are more persistent and require different methods of control.

Couch grass, Dog’s Grass, Twitch (Agropyrum repens, syn. Elymus repens) Although a difficult weed to control it’s impossible to remove from a garden the weed that is the easiest to control out of our 4 difficult weeds.
