Autumn Leaves On My Garden Borders.

After the autumn leaves have fallen from the trees and shrubs covering my borders, can I just dig then into the border?
Answer
Yes, I would dig them in to the soil.In our garden I cover the beds with a new layer of spent mushroom compost every spring and cover up the leaves that have fallen on the bed in the autumn and winter.The worms do the digging by dragging the leaves and the mushroom compost into the soil
