How To Prune Your Overgrown Lavender.

How to prune your lavender you probably want to wait until end of mid April when the worst of the frosts are over or after the first flush of flowers has come to an end.You can then prune it back to where you see growth is springing.Try not to cut it back into the wood too radically as it will sulk.Give it a feed with Growmore come May.You will find that Lavender does become very woody if left unpruned year after year and is not the longest lived of plants. You may want to take some cuttings of it in July in order to replace it if you think it still looks not great at at the end of the season.
