Plants For A Pergola.

Question
I have a new pergola,it is about 3 metres by 1.5 metres on a clay soil. What would you suggest I grow on it to provide all year around interest?

These are the plants I would use;Clematis armandii for spring flowers with a scent.Vitus Brant for the grapes and autumn colour,Passiflora Caerulea for the fruits and, finally,Jasminum Nudiflorum for winter flowers.
