Coreopsis Zagreb is named after the capital city of Croatia, as it was bred by Croatian horticulturist and plant breeder Anton Kiefer. It is highly regarded for its compact growth habit, reaching a height of about 12 to 18 inches (30 to 45 cm) and a spread of 12 to 24 inches (30 to 60 cm). The plant forms clumps of fine, thread-like, dark green foliage.
